"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." This week at St. Paul school our 3 and 4 year old students learned about how the wise men traveled to see Jesus, their Savior and their King.
Not only does Jesus welcome children who believe in him, he encourages all believers to have the faith of a child, to trust in his good plan for us, even when we can't see the end of the plan. Remember the goal we've set for ourselves as a congregation: one million dollars in pledges and gifts by April 17, 2022, Easter Sunday. Rejoice in the childlike faith behind pledges and gifts already given: as of Dec. 31: $474,985. Consider the Lord's promise to work this and all things out for the good of his people.
With Spirit-worked faith, may we continue to let children come to Jesus until Jesus comes again!
