I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old— things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.
Psalm 78:2-4
Our ministry center is finished, and it is providing us great opportunities to connect Jesus with more souls. On the horizon is phase 2, the construction of a new narthex. On Sunday, October 13th, we kicked off our three-year Tell the Next Generation plan with a special service to help us remember the Lord's praiseworthy deeds for us in Jesus our Savior, to recommit ourselves to proclaiming his saving name to many more people for generations to come, and to pray for his blessing on our plans for this time between phase 1 and phase 2.
INFORMATION
At various times between September 23 - October 8 many of our members were able to attend an informational meeting. If you weren't able to attend or if you'd like to review what was discussed, you can check out the booklet and watch a brief video summary below.
WEBSITE
For regular news and updates, visit us online at www.stpaulgreenbay.com/tell. The page includes blog posts and an option for subscribing to them. There's also a link there to our recent building project history.
WALL DISPLAY
Another way to find regular updates is by checking out the wall display near the main entrance of our ministry center. The display currently features prayers written by eighth grade students of St. Paul school.
PLEDGES AND GIFTS
The financial goal we've set for ourselves is $1.2 million in pledges and gifts above and beyond our regular offerings over the next three years. This will help us surpass our required loan payments for ministry center construction and will enable us to get an earlier start on phase 2 of our project: the construction of a new narthex.
Give thanks to the Lord! By his gospel promises in Jesus our Savior he has moved the hearts of God's people to give a total of $218,235 in pledges and gifts as of October 15th.
Would you like to be a part of the plan? Remember the Lord's praiseworthy deeds in sending his Savior! Consider giving a gift or making a pledge in his name. Keep the plans of our church family in your prayers.
