Who first told you about the Lord? Was it a pastor, parent, a teacher a friend? We honor their love to us not just by calling their faces to mind, but by remembering what they taught us. What was it that melted our hearts of stone? They taught us the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.
Look what he did for Old Testament Israel. He parted the waters of the Red Sea, provided manna from heaven, and brought the walls of Jericho crashing down. Each praiseworthy deed of the Lord was pointing to a deed more praiseworthy than all the rest. When the time was right, God sent his Son in the flesh: one sacrifice for every sinner who has ever lived.
How can we help but praise him? How can we help but tell the next generation his praiseworthy deeds?

Pictured here is our architect's rendering of the proposed entrance into the new narthex as viewed from Chicago St. A graded parking area leading up to the entrance will provide disabled persons better proximity and accessibility to our worship space without having to navigate a flight of steps.
